Anxiety

Whether you suffer with anxiety as a stand-alone condition, or have both anxiety and depression, TMS is a highly effective treatment. The treatment is slightly different for anxiety and depression so each condition is treated separately using TMS. We are experienced in treating generalised anxiety with great success rates.

PTSD

Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) can affect anyone of any age. It usually occurs following a traumatic experience such as an accident, abuse, witnessing something distressing or being a victim of crime or losing a loved one. TMS has been used to effectively treat PTSD.

How Can PTSD Be Treated with RTMS?

Tinnitus

Tinnitus is the perception of noises in the head or ear which have no external source, often described as buzzing or ringing sound. It can affect anyone at any age and TMS has been used to treat the condition.

Chronic Pain

Chronic pain is a persistent pain lasting longer than 12 weeks. It could be the result of an injury or operation or the cause may be unknown. It is usually the result of inaccurate interpretations of the body’s signals by the brain and can be treated with TMS.

Substance Misuse

TMS is increasingly being used to treat substance misuse, especially cocaine, which increases brain activity which can be replicated by TMS curing the addiction.
